Friends, Food, and Fireworks

We've continued to stay busy around here.  I was out of town the last weekend in June so daddy got some girl time and was treated to dinner at our good friends the Ahrings.  Any opportunity for Ava and Reese to play with their buddy Nolan is a score in their eyes.  Reese also had a doctor's appointment the Friday before I left so daddy and Ava had an outing to the pet store while I took Reese to the appointment.  Don't worry...there wasn't any intention in getting a pet, just pure entertainment. 

For the 4th of July we went to the Lake of the Ozarks with our good friends the Southards.  The kids had a blast in the lake, making smores, playing in the pool on the deck, and Colton got to go fishing with the boys.  The adults had a wonderful time too, just hanging out and spending time with each other. 

Zack and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary on July 7th so Ava and Reese got to play with their buddy Nolan again while mommy and daddy went out for dinner.  Needless to say they had a great time.
